Ingredient Substitutions and Recipe Variations

Variations:

  1. Mint Aero Bubbles: Swap out the Mint Aero chocolate bars for Mint Aero bubbles.
  2. Mini Marshmallows: Substitute large chopped marshmallows with mini marshmallows.
  3. Nuts: For added crunch, you can incorporate chopped nuts such as almonds, walnuts, or pistachios.

Substitutions:

  1. Digestive Biscuits: If digestive biscuits are not available in your part of the world, substitute with a similar plain and slightly sweet biscuit for example graham crackers.
  2. Condensed Milk: While condensed milk is the key binding ingredient, you could explore alternatives like sweetened condensed coconut milk for a dairy free or vegan version.
  3. Desiccated Coconut: If desiccated coconut isn’t your preference, crushed nuts can be used to coat the outside for a different texture or you can just omit the coating altogether.

How to make no bake mint aero fifteens traybake

1. Crush the digestive biscuits into small pieces using a rolling pin and place them in a large bowl.

2. Add the marshmallows and mint aero chocolate to the bowl with the crushed biscuits.

3. Pour in the condensed milk and mix everything together until well combined. If it’s too dry you can add more condensed milk.

4. Roll out a length of cling film and sprinkle it with the desiccated coconut. Tip out the fifteens mixture on top of the coconut and using the clingfilm roll it up into a sausage shape. The coconut will be covering the outside.

5. Place it in the fridge to chill for a couple of hours (until set), or better still overnight.

6. Once the mixture has set, remove the tray from the fridge and cut the fifteens into slices.

7. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.

8. Enjoy!
